General Information
This privacy policy explains which personal data we collect and what happens to your data when you visit our website. Personal data includes any data related to you personally, such as name, address, email addresses, user behaviour. We have taken comprehensive technological and operational measures to protect your data from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or from being accessed by unauthorised persons. Please contact us directly if you have any questions. You will find our contact information below.

Data collected on our website
Who is responsible for the data collected on this website?
Data are processed on this website by the site operator. Their contact details are provided in the site’s imprint.

How do we collect your data?
Some data are collected when you share them with us. For example, this could be data you enter into a contact form.
Other data are automatically collected by our IT systems when you visit the website. These are primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system, or the time the site was accessed). Such data are automatically collected as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use the data for?
Some of the data are collected to ensure proper operation of the website. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.

What are your rights concerning your data?
You have the right, at no cost to you and at any time, to receive information about the origin, recipient, and purpose for which any of your personal data have been stored. You also have the right to demand the rectification, restriction of processing, or erasure of these data. Please contact us anytime if you have questions about these rights or any other data protection issue using the address provided in the imprint. In addition, you have the right to complain to the responsible supervisory authority.

Under certain circumstances, you also have the right to demand the restriction of processing of your personal data. Please refer to the privacy policy section on “Right to restriction of processing” for further details.

Analytical tools and third party tools
Your surfing behaviour may be statistically evaluated when you visit our website. This primarily happens through the use of cookies and so-called analysis programmes. Normally, any analysis of your browsing behaviour will be anonymous; the browsing behaviour cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. Please refer to the following privacy policy for detailed information.

You can object to this analysis. This privacy policy contains information about your options when objecting.

2. General information and required information

Data protection
At time4you, we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your data confidentially and in compliance with legal data protection requirements and this privacy policy.

Various personal data are collected when you use this website. Personal data are data that can be used to identify you personally. This privacy policy explains which data we collect and what we use them for. It also explains how this is done and for what purpose.

We would like to point out that the transmission of data via the internet (e.g. when communicating through email) can entail security risks. It is not possible to protect data from unauthorised access at all times.

Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can withdraw your previously given consent at any time via an informal email message. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of data processing operations carried out before consent was withdrawn.

Right to object to the processing of data in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of your personal data which is based on point (e) or (f) of Article 6 (1), including profiling based on those provisions. Refer to this privacy policy for the respective legal basis on which data is being processed. If you do object, we will no longer process the personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection according to Art. 21 (1) GDPR).
Where your personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to processing of your personal data for such marketing, which includes profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing. Where you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, the personal data will no longer be processed for such purposes (objection according to Art. 21 (2) GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with the authorised supervisory authority
In case of violations of the GDPR, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of his or her habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement. This right exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Right to data portability
You have the right to receive your personal data, or have it transmitted to a third party, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, where that data is processed by automated means with your consent or in fulfilment of a contract. If you are requesting your personal data to be transferred directly from one controller to another, this will be done only where technically feasible.

SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect confidential content, for example orders or enquiries, which you transmit to us as the site operator. You can recognise a connection as encrypted when the browser’s address line changes from “http://” to “https://” and also by the padlock icon in your browser line.
Data you transmit to us are not visible to third parties when SSL or TLS encryption is activated.

Right of access, restriction of processing, erasure and rectification
In line with applicable legal requirements, you have the right to be informed about any personal data stored about you, their source and any recipients and the purpose for which it is processed at any time and at no cost to you. Where applicable, you also have the right to rectification, restriction of processing, or erasure of the data. Please do not hesitate to contact us at the address provided in the imprint if you have any questions about the above or the issue of personal data.

Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data. Please contact us at any time at the address provided in the imprint for more information. The right to restriction of processing applies in the following scenarios: If you contest the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we typically need time to verify this. You have the right to demand the processing of your personal data to be restricted for the time needed to verify the accuracy of the personal data.

  • If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you may request the restriction of their use instead of their erasure.
  • If we no longer need your personal data but you require them for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of their use instead of their erasure.
  • If you have objected to processing pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, your interests must be weighed up against ours. Pending verification of whose interests prevail, you have the right to request restriction of processing of your personal data.
  • If you have restricted processing of your personal data, this data shall, with the exception of storage, only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or of a Member State.

Objection to email marketing
We hereby object to the use of contact details published pursuant to German legal requirements for our imprint and legal notice for the purpose of transmitting any marketing emails that have not been expressly requested. The operators of these websites expressly reserve the right to take legal action against the unsolicited transmission of marketing information, e.g. through spam emails.

3. Data collected on our website

At times, the websites use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies are designed to make our services more user-friendly, effective, and safe. Cookies are small text files, which are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies” that are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser during your next visit.

You can set your browser to alert you to cookies being placed and only allow cookies in specific cases, prevent cookies in specific scenarios or generally, and you can activate your browser’s delete on exit function to make sure cookies are deleted when you close the session. If cookies are deactivated, this website’s functionality may be limited.

Pursuant to Art. 6 (1) point (f) GDPR, cookies necessary for the electronic communication operation or for the provision of specific functions you want (e.g. shopping cart function) are saved. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies necessary for optimal service provision without technical errors. To the extent that other cookies (e.g. cookies for the analysis of your browsing behaviour) are stored, these are specifically mentioned in this privacy policy.

Server logs
The websites’ operator automatically collects and stores information in so-called server logs, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This information comprises:

  • browser type and version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of server request
  • IP-address

These data are not combined with other sources of data.

These data are collected pursuant to Art. 6 (1) point (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in optimising their website and presenting it without technical errors – server logs must be collected for that purpose.

Contact forms
We will save data submitted by you via a contact or demo form, including the contact details entered into the form, for the purpose of processing your request as well as possible follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.

Therefore, data entered into the form is processed solely with your consent (Art. 6 (1) point (a) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time by sending us an email. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of data processing operations carried out before consent was withdrawn.

Data you submitted via the contact form will be kept until you request their erasure, withdraw your consent for their storage, or if the purpose for which data were stored no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed conclusively). Mandatory legal requirements – especially storage periods – are unaffected.

4. Social media

Social media plugins
Our sites feature social media plugins (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, XING, LinkedIn, Tumblr).

Normally, you will be able to recognise the plugins by their respective social media logos. In order to ensure data protection on our website, we use these plugins only in combination with the so-called “Shariff” solution. This application prevents the plugins that are integrated with our website from sending data to the respective provider the first time you enter the site.

A direct connection to the provider’s server is only opened once you activate the plugin by clicking on the respective button (consent). As soon as you activate the plugin, the respective provider receives the information that you visited our site using your IP address. If you are logged in to your respective social media account (e.g. Facebook) at the same time, the respective provider can associate your visit of our site with your user account.

Activating the plugins amounts to giving your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) point (a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent for future visits at any time.

5. Analytical tools and advertising

Data-efficient access analysis with WP Statify
This website uses the WordPress Statify tool to statistically analyse site views. Statify does not use tracking cookies. In direct comparison to statistics services such as Google Analytics, WordPress.com Stats, and Piwik, Statify does not process and store personal data like IP addresses – Statify counts site views, not visitors.

6. Newsletter

Newsletter data
If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter provided via the website, we require your email address as well as information enabling us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you are consenting to receiving the newsletter. No other data are collected except where you volunteer such data. We use these data solely to send you the requested information and do not share them with third parties.
Data entered into the newsletter subscription form are only processed with your consent (Art. 6 (1) point (a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent to the storage of the data, email address, and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of already completed data processing operations is not affected by the withdrawal of consent.

The data you provided us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter are stored until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and erased once you have done so. Data we have stored for other purposes are unaffected.

7. Plugins and tools

Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of different fonts. When accessing a site, your browser loads the required web fonts to your browser cache in order to correctly display text and fonts.

In order to do so, the browser you are using has to establish a connection to Google’s servers. This lets Google know that our website has been accessed via your IP address. We use Google Web Fonts to ensure a uniform and appealing presentation of our online services, which presents a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) point (f) GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

For more information about Google Web Fonts, please visit https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and refer to Google’s privacy policy available at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Google Maps
This site uses Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

It is necessary to store your IP address in order to use Google Maps functions. Generally, this information is transmitted to a server in the US and stored there. The operator of this site has no influence over this transmission of data. We use Google Maps to provide an appealing presentation of our online services and to ensure locations listed on our website are easy to find. This amounts to a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) point (f) GDPR.

Please refer to Google’s privacy policy for additional information on how user data are handled: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

YouTube with extended data protection
Our website uses plugins from YouTube’s site, which is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
We use YouTube’s extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode ensures that YouTube does not store information about visitors of this website before they watch the video. However, the extended data protection mode does not necessarily guarantee that no data are shared with YouTube Partners. For example, YouTube will open a connection to Google’s DoubleClick network, regardless of whether you watch a video.

As soon as you start a YouTube video on our website, a connection to YouTube’s servers is opened. In the process, the YouTube server receives information about which of our sites you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you are allowing YouTube to associate your browsing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Moreover, YouTube can save different cookies on your device once a video has started. YouTube can use these cookies to obtain information about visitors to our website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve the user experience, and prevent fraud. The cookies stay on your device until you delete them. It is possible for additional data processing operations to launch after a YouTube video has started, which we cannot influence.

We use YouTube to enable an appealing presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest pursuant to Art.6 (1) point (f) GDPR.

For additional information on data protection as it relates to YouTube, please refer to their privacy policy at: http://www.youtube.com/t/privacy_at_youtube.

Google reCAPTCHA
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (“reCAPTCHA” from here on) on our websites. It is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

reCAPTCHA is designed to verify that data entries on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) are done by a human and not an automated programme. To that end, reCAPTCHA analyses the website visitor’s behaviour based on different characteristics. This analysis commences automatically as soon as a visitor enters the website. reCAPTCHA evaluates different types of information (e.g. IP address, time spent on the website or the user’s mouse movements) for this analysis. The data collected during analysis are transmitted to Google.

reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not alerted to the fact that an analysis is taking place. Data is processed pursuant to Art. 6 (1) point (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting their online services from fraudulent automated surveillance and from SPAM.
